Carol Kukoyi

Carol Alexander Kukoyi, a loving, devoted mother,  daughter, sister, and friend.  Carol entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.   

Carol was born on September 4, 1951, to Joyce Nathan.  She attended Wheatley High School.   A proud and driven woman who worked her way through nursing school at San Jacinto College attaining a nursing degree. Her first job in healthcare was at Ben Taub Hospital.  She dedicated her life to the healthcare industry retiring  from HCA's  Woman's Hospital of Texas after 25 years of service.

Carol was a provider to her family and loved being a nurse.  She was an adventurer who enjoyed to explore the world.  A well traveled wine connoisseur.  You could often find Carol trying new recipies in the kitchen, organizing family activities especially for Christmas eve.
She also loved to give a helping hand to anyone who needed the help. 

She is survived by her daughter Ameenat Kukoyi, (Amy); her grand daughter Artavia Lee Polley; her mother Joyce McQuay;  loving ex-husband Kahlid  Kukoyi;    brother Larry Alexander; uncle, James Hall; aunt Rosa Kyle. She was preceeded in death by her grandmother Cora Lee Hall, Grandfather  Ernest Lee Hall; and Uncle, Ernest Hall Jr.

She will be dearly missed by her living family and friends.
 

Memorial Services will be held, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 12 pm at Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
