Feels like just yesterday I was a little girl sitting on your lap at the computer eating cottage cheese without a care in the world now so many years later my favorite thing was when the boys would run into the den in the morning to greet you and hearing “ morning pumpkin” I’m so lucky to have you as a grandpa and the boys are so lucky to call you their great grandpa or “papa” ❤️ There isn’t a day on this earth that we won’t miss you!! In Memory of a life so beautifully lived , a heart so deeply loved fly high grandpa I love you!

I love you so much grandpa. Gonna really miss the "I'm still breathing" comments we'd tell each other when checking in. You take those wings and fly high, waiting for that butt kicking we talked about. It might be a while but I won't forget! As promised I will make sure grandma is taken care of. So many memories I will cherish until I can see you again. Give my family up there big hugs for me and thank you for being so strong through everything. Thank you for serving this country and thank you for loving me the way you did. See you soon "on this side of the green" 😭💜

The last time I saw Butch he was telling me about His and Kathy's anniversary coming up.  He was so happy about it!  56 years!  (I think he said)  He always made me feel like family and I will always think of him as Pops!  He will be missed by everyone.  Love and miss you Pops!  Rest in peace.  I will see you on the otherside someday.
