In Loving Memory of 

Nelda Louise Reynolds 

Nelda passed away peacefully on Friday, June 10, 2022 in her home in Houston Texas surrounded by members of her family. 

Nelda was born May 3, 1931 in Snyder Texas to the late Tom Bo and Winnie Lee Sanders.  She was the oldest of 5 children. She was preceded in death by three of her siblings; Theresa, Joyce and Tommy and is survived by Sandra. 

Nelda was married to the late Johney Edward Reynolds in Portales, NM on November 1, 1950. They had 7 children; three of which preceded her in death, Nelda Sue Jackson, Loy Dean and Michael Lynn. 

Nelda leaves to cherish her loving memories her surviving children, Margaret Lois Hyatt, Brenda Jean Pacheco, Joe Wayne Reynolds and Johney Edward Reynolds Jr.  Nelda was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren, and hosts of nieces, nephews, cocusins and friends.  

Nelda loved history, math and reading. She always said that reading took her places that she could otherwise not go. But her passion was nursing. She retired from her nursing career after 52 years.  

As per Nelda’s request, there will be no funeral.
