Paul Edward Altman

Paul Edward Altman, 74, of Deer Park, Texas, passed away on August 26, 2023 after a lengthy and hard
fought battle with cancer. He was born on November 2, 1948 in Blackshear, Georgia, and grew up in
Dublin, Georgia, where he lived until he moved to Texas in 1970.

Paul is survived by his loving sons and their families: Toby Altman and his wife Kelley, Joe Paul Altman
and his wife Chastity, and Jacob Altman. He was also a cherished “Grandpa” to Tuff Altman. Paul's
mother, Myrtice Young, and his brother, Ronnie Altman, held special places in his heart. He also leaves
behind numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife and love of his life, Margaret Ann Carr Altman, father
Edward Altman and sister Carol Powell.

Paul will be remembered as a skilled electrician and a Navy veteran who served his country with pride.
His passion for fishing, gardening, tinkering with his hot rod truck, and savoring a cold beer on the porch
with his neighbors will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
 

Celebration of Life will be held, Sunday October 1, 2023 from 10am - 12pm at Jimmy Burke Activity Center, 500 W. 13th Street, Deer Park, Tx 77536.
