Ronald Clyde Evans, age 84, died after a long battle with Diabetes and Kidney complications on
May 19 th , 2023 in HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake Hospital in Webster, Texas.
Ronald was born on September 18, 1938 in Oklahoma, to parents Grady Verwin “Erwin” Evans
and Annie Leverne “LaVerne” Evans (Jackson). He graduated from Sam Houston State
University and was a proud member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity where he made friends who
remained close throughout their lives.
Ronald is survived by his son, Randall C. Decker Buntin, of Norfolk, Virginia, his daughter, Kasey
Lynn Weston of Kansas City, Missouri, and her children, Rachel Ann and Samuel Lee, and
grandchild, Blakely Rose; He is also survived by his Sister, Frankie Lois Evans, of Alvin, Texas,
and her three children, Wayne Wilson, Charles (Charlie) Wilson and Kathy Vogt (Wilson) also of
Alvin, Texas.
Ronald began his career in the restaurant industry and had several ventures throughout his life.
Most recently, Ronald owned the Mustang Bayou RV Park in Alvin, Texas on the land on which
he grew up. Ronald spent his final years living there and staying connected with his close circle
of friends.
Ronald was put to rest by his children through a cremation service at Ridgemont Mortuary in
Houston, Texas.
